A safe space for us, by us.
A safe space for us, by us.
Submit your experiences, poetry, essays, and observations to share with the community of Black Dance Teachers Blog. Whether it's a day in the life, a celebratory moment, or concern you need assistance on.
Black Dance Teachers Association was established to create a safe space for us to share the unique circumstances we experience as BIPOC dance teachers, educators, and makers. Whether you are working in a predominately White dance space or not, there are cultural nuances we see, feel, and work within that are indescribable to others. This is OUR space to share, to rejoice, to laugh, to cry, and to holler! Please come in peace, share with love, and work as a community to make dance spaces equitable and enjoyable. Thank you for your contributions!
